Danar was born 1999 and now lives and works in Yogyakarta. He graduated from the University of Yogyakarta in 2013.
Through his creative practice, Najati explores contemporary themes with a strong visual sensitivity, often reflecting the personal and social dynamics of his surroundings. His works span drawing, painting, and mixed media, with a focus on translating everyday encounters into visual narratives. By examining the world but as an integral part of it suggesting that personal experience is a powerful lens through which to view broader social and cultural phenomena.
Danar has exhibited extensively both in Indonesia and internationally. His recent exhibitions include “Winds Of Change” group exhibition at Redbase Foundation Yogyakarta (2022), Soboman Art Space 219, Taman Budaya Yogyakarta, Galerie pompom, Sydney.
