Luo Qing, born in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, in 1970, currently lives and works in Beijing. He attended the Central Academy of Fine Arts starting in 1990, where he joined the Third Studio of the Department of Oil Painting for both his undergraduate and graduate studies. He graduated with a master's degree in 1998 and taught at the Chinese Opera Academy from 2000 to 2007. Luo has been devoted to easel painting for decades, and his work, "Dark Words in Silent Labour," represents a response to the individuality of the whole reality, an art fruit conceived from within his own body. He has showcased his easel paintings internationally. His solo exhibitions span prominent venues in Beijing, New York, and Zurich, featuring notable works such as Solaris and Unconsciousness. Luo’s group exhibitions include Funniness or Seriousness in Singapore and Hundred Flowers Blossoming in Dresden, highlighting his significant presence in the global art scene.
