Hui Xin, born in Xinjiang, China in 1977, is a contemporary artist based in Chongqing. He graduated from the Department of Oil Painting at the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute.
His solo works explore themes such as the perception of beauty, happiness, and emotional distance.
In 2024, he participated in the group exhibition “(Between) Heaven & Earth” at Redbase Art Sydney.
He has exhibited extensively in prominent contemporary art spaces in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Beijing, and also took part in the 10th Shanghai Biennale, further affirming his relevance in the Chinese contemporary art scene.
