ARTIST BIO

Yusup Dilogo was Born in 1982 in Bantul,  lives and works in Yogyakarta. He graduated from the Indonesian Institute of the Arts in Yogyakarta in 2010. Yusup is known for transforming recycled materials using the Kjokkenmoddinger concept into artworks that highlight social and environmental issues. He utilizes unused plastic, galvalume, and various other recycled materials as both media and concept in his work.

Together with Redbase Foundation Indonesia, he participated in the group exhibition titled WASIAT in 2019.

In 2001, he was nominated for the Philip Morris Art Awards. He has participated in numerous exhibitions, including at Salihara Gallery Jakarta, Taman Budaya Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta Cultural Park, National Gallery Jakarta, Bentara Budaya Yogyakarta, Museum H. Widayat Magelang, and Jogja Gallery Yogyakarta.
