Zulfirman Syah, born in 1978, is an artist from Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia, who later moved to Ōtautahi, Christchurch, New Zealand. He graduated from the Department of Painting at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) in Yogyakarta.
For Zulfirman, creating art is an expression of his soul, born from his aesthetic experiences. In each new work, he strives to apply his techniques and vision to make a meaningful impact on the development of art.
In 2019, Zulfirman Syah participated in two group exhibitions: "Walking in the Rhythm" at the redbase Foundation in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and "Auckland Art Fair" at the redbase Foundation in Auckland, New Zealand.
Zulfirman Syah has actively participated in various group exhibitions, both in Indonesia and internationally. He participated in various exhibitions such as Jogja National Museum, Yogyakarta, Fundação Eugénio de Almeida Museum, Évora, Portugal, and the Fatahillah Gallery, Jakarta Old Town Museum.
