Theo Frids Hutabarat (born in Bandung, 1987) is a visual artist and art educator who graduated from the Faculty of Art and Design at the Bandung Institute of Technology (FSRD ITB). 

In his artistic practice, Theo explores the dilemmas and challenges faced by painting as a medium within the context of Indonesian contemporary art. He sees painting not only as a form of visual expression but also as a space for reflecting on social and cultural changes. 

In 2023, Theo participated in the group exhibition “A-T, The Journey 1” at Redbase Foundation, Yogyakarta. He has also taken part in other significant exhibitions such as Bandung Contemporary and the Bandung Contemporary Art Award #2.
