Dedy Shofianto was born on December 15th, 1991 in Jambi, Indonesia. Lives and works in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree majoring in Fine Arts, Indonesian Institute of Fine Arts, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Dedy exhibits extensively in Indonesia two solo exhibitions to date “Pamor” at Langgeng Art Foundation, Yogyakarta (2019) and “Song of Rhinoceros Beetles” at Kinetic Art Tirana House, Yogyakarta (2015). His works also has been featured in several exhibitions, such as, “Hitam” at Grey Gallery, Bandung, Indonesia (2023), “Yogya Young Artist” at Jogja Gallery, Indonesia (2023), “Nandur Srawung” at Taman Budaya Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta, Indonesia (2021), and many more. He also received several awards such as, “Young Rising Artist Award” at “Nandur Srawung #7” (2020), “Young Artist Award” at Redbase Foundation (2016), “Best Artwork” at “28th Dies Natalies of Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta” (2012), and many more.
