Khairul Agustian was born in 1973 in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra, Indonesia. He currently lives and works in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He graduated from the Photography Department at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta.
He participated in the group exhibition titled “Rising Length of Light” at Redbase Foundation, Indonesia.
Khairul has also been involved in various group exhibitions, including those held by Komunitas Sakato Jogja at Jogja Gallery, at Taman Budaya Yogyakarta, Art JOG at Taman Budaya Yogyakarta, and many more.
We pay our respects to the Gundungurra people who are the traditional custodians of the land. We acknowledge Elders past, present and emerging for their immense spiritual connection to place which was never ceded.
