ARTIST BIO

 Riki Antoni was born in 1977 in Pariaman, West Sumatra. He graduated from the Painting Department at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
Riki is known for his pop-surrealist style, combining bright colors, cute characters, and satirical texts and symbols to deliver critiques of modern society.

In 2017, he participated in a group exhibition titled Rising Length of Light at Redbase Foundation Yogyakarta. 

He has held several solo exhibitions, including at Artotel and Artspace in Surabaya, Indonesia, and Impreciation in Singapore. His works have also been featured in numerous group exhibitions at venues such as Jogja Gallery, SICA, Museum and Terracotta (Museum dan Tanah Liat), as well as exhibitions in Seoul, South Korea, and many more.
