Moira Mai (Jingru Mai) is an emerging Chinese female artist who is studying for her PhD at the University of Sydney. She focuses on the development of glass art without excluding any other art materials and is interested in combining glass with other materials, preferring to create colourful and poetic works. Most of her work discusses feminism, intergenerational relationships, emotional landscapes and lesbianism. She is currently active in exhibitions in Sydney, Melbourne and cities in China
