Muhammad Arya Al-Hafizh “Karyo”(b. 2003) graduated from the Fine Arts Education Department, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Bandung, in 2025. His artistic practice stems from an interest in ceramics as a medium for revisiting objects, memories, and social phenomena present in everyday life. Through an approach that combines the materiality of ceramics with the reading of social archives, He explore how seemingly ordinary objects can contain traces of history, identity, and social relations. Karyo's works seek to reconstruct and re-present these archives in new forms, opening up possibilities for a more reflective reading of collective experiences and the paradigms of today’s society.
