Qing Lin was born in 1982 in Shanghai, China, where they currently live and work. They graduated from the Fine Arts College of Shanghai University in 2005.
Qing Lin’s artistic practice explores visual structures through painting and printmaking, often examining relationships between scale, spatial logic, and conceptual abstraction. Their works reflect a modern experimental approach to composition and form.
In 2020, Qing Lin held a solo exhibition Rule the Scale at M Art Center, Shanghai. They have participated in group exhibitions such as After Sunset at Galerie LiusaWang, Paris (2018), and All Happens After Sunset at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Shanghai (2017), alongside international presentations in Hong Kong, Vienna, and Beijing.
