Hojatul Islam born in 1980 in Payakumbuh, Indonesia. He graduated from Indonesian Institute of Arts (ISI), Yogyakarta.
Hojatul Islam’s artistic practice explores themes rooted in social issues, cultural narratives, and the human condition, often expressed through a combination of visual symbolism and experimental forms. His works reflect a thoughtful engagement with contemporary concerns while maintaining a dialogue with traditional values and forms of expression.
Islam recent work has been featured in the group exhibition “A–T, The Journey 1” at Redbase Foundation (2023), and “Inside Out” at Redbase Foundation (2022).
