Bayu A.P Asmoro, Born in Indonesia 1991, is an artist currently living and working in Yogyakarta. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Indonesian Institute of Art, Yogyakarta.

Asmoro artistic practice explores socio-political narratives and contemporary cultural identity, often expressed through figurative compositions and symbolic imagery. His works reflect on current events and ideological shifts in Indonesian society, offering visual commentaries through a dynamic and expressive approach.

Asmoro recent works have been featured in “KATARSIS” group exhibition at Redbase Foundation Indonesia, Yogyakarta (2018), Biennale Jatim IX, Jogja Affordable Art, A Space Odyssey, LAV Gallery, Samata House.

Awards that Asmoro has received include the Basoeki Abdullah Art Award (BAAA).
