Currently I run my own art studio and my artworks have been appeared in local galleries. I am working on a series of painting and printmaking, highlighting about how important is the symbols in our lives. The symbols I convey in my works are alphabets. It plays a big role by create communication to the people. From my personal survey and observation, letters build connections and relationship among on another.
I have a unique perspective of life where I believe the alphabet create feelings, emotions, message, information no matter where you are. It changes over time, where your state also changes over time, followed by the arrangement of the alphabets.
I want to prepare my new series and a new style of works that symbolic the ways and styles of people in your country communicates. Different cultures, different races, different environment, different languages, are surrounding us, by using alphabets, or even just symbols. But this series I’m only focusing on alphabet, by chance I’ll do another series about symbols. This is my new ideas and my new development in my artworks.
My work is going to reflect the culture at your homeland, using my alphabetical style. With the combination of mono print and paintings, it keeps the moment and emotion, just like camera. By overlapping images with different places from your country and create a state of “conversation”. A happening images but yet it’s going to leave behind, if the “conversation” doesn’t “continue”. My work is continuous.
