Faisal Habibi was born in 1984, Jakarta, Indonesia. He lives and works in Bandung, Indonesia. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Fine Arts, Institute of Technology Bandung, Bandung, Indonesia. His works have been featured in several exhibitions, like his solo exhibitions, “Stretch & Fold”, Jarmuschek+Partner Gallery, Berlin (2021), “Fillet”, Sullivan+Strumpf Gallery, Singapore (2018), “This is not an apple...”, ROH Projects, Jakarta, Indonesia (2015), and group exhibitions, “1”, ROH Projects, Bandung, Indonesia (2022), “Liber Primus”, Semarang Contemporary Art Gallery, Semarang, Indonesia (2019), “Effervescence”, ROH Projects, Gillman Barracks, Singapore (2015), and many more. He also received several awards such as, “Special Mention”, Bandung Contemporary Art Awards, Bandung, Indonesia (2015), “First Prize, Competition for Three-Dimensional Works”, Salihara Community, Jakarta, Indonesia (2013), and “Juror’s Choice”, Indonesia Art Award, Jakarta, Indonesia (2008). In 2014, He also took part in a residency at ZKU – Zentrum für Kunst und Urbanistik, Berlin, Germany.
