Moch Krismon Ariwijaya

ARTIST BIO

 Moch Krismon Ariwijaya was born in 1998 and is currently based in Surabaya, Indonesia. He graduated from the State University of Surabaya and is the founder of the “Kecoak Timur” collective, playing a prominent role in East Java’s noise and experimental art scene.  His artistic practice centers around collective engagement, sound experimentation, and noise-based media. He is also active as a curator and was part of the curatorial team for the 9th East Java Biennale. His practice is closely connected to Gadung, Gresik. 

Krismon has participated in multiple exhibitions at Redbase Foundation Indonesia, including YADAYUDA DAYUDAYA, Untitled Javanese Sol, A-T, The Journey 1, and WINDS OF CHANGE. In 2025, his work was also presented in Tumbuh at Redbase Art Sydney. 

His works have been featured in Mengingat 25 Tahun Reformasi at Cemeti Institute and Resituating Colonial Archives at Gudskul Jakarta.
