Dionisius Krisnambudi Lives and works at Sawahan, Ngemplak, Boyolali, Central Java. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from the Faculty of Art and Design (FSRD), Sebelas Maret University (UNS), Surakarta.
Krisnambudi practice is centered on exploring space, everyday symbols, and layered meanings in visual form. Often drawing from his immediate surroundings, Krisnambudi work reflects a deep engagement with the cultural and physical environment of Central Java. He experiments with visual motifs that bridge urban aesthetics and traditional elements, using composition to spark new dialogues on connectivity and place.
Krisnambudi has participated in group exhibition including “Macam-macam” at Redbase Foundation Indonesia, Yogyakarta (2019), and many more.
He is the winner of the Toyota Mural Competition. FSRD UNS, Surakarta, Central Java (2017).
