“The Future is Here” artwork concept is about the phenomenon of child behavioral development. The children’s behavioral patterns are affected by the environment and change of time. Nine sculptures (1 Security Guard sculpture and 8 children sculptures), the works describe the behavior of children when they play, some use gun, sword, and others. If we look at my previous works with street-life theme, this theme reveals the background of their life. On the other hand, when we look at today’s life-pattern is being so informative, I do feel it as a fact-reality that can affect children’s behaviors. If the children allowed to play with tools that will trigger violent behavior, it will affect their personal-characteristic in the future.

Actually this is the story of reality that lack of our attention when we are going through the reality of life. How children around us always do the process to copy and imitate something. When we are thinking about future, do not neglect the present. Present time always important for us to look closely, related to human development and the sake for our kids!
