Rizqi Maulana

ARTIST BIO

Rizqi Maulana was born in Sidoarjo, East Java, and has been actively producing work since 2016.

Rizqi’s artistic approach is rooted in the exploration of Javanese spirituality, religiosity, traditional culture, and local mythology. He reconstructs symbolic and visual elements into reflective artworks, forming a personal visual language that draws from his environment, social issues, and personal narratives. His compositions are marked by a meditative engagement with meaning and a strong emphasis on reinterpretation and symbolism.

In 2023, Rizqi held a solo exhibition titled Pamoring Jagad – Salvation to Save the Soul at Redbase Art Space. He has participated in several group exhibitions organized by Redbase Foundation and Redbase Art Sydney, including Macam‑macam (2019), YADAYUDA DAYUDAYA (2022), Cross of the Matter (2024), and Tumbuh (2024–2025).
